Endodontics
Dr Vida Adib
BDSc MSc MClinDent (Endo) MFDS RCS MRD RCSEd
I graduated from Queensland University Dental School in Australia in 1989. My first job was at the South Brisbane Dental Hospital where I worked as a general dental practitioner and gained experience in all aspects of dentistry.
In 1992, after moving to London, I acquired my own practice treating both private and NHS patients. I started specialist training at the Eastman Dental Hospital in 1997 and completed two postgraduate degrees and entered the specialist Register for Endodontics. I am a member of the British Endodontology Society and the American Association of Endodontics.
Currently I teach at the Royal London Hospital, part time, on Endodontic Postgraduate courses.
At 42 Pembridge Road, I am dedicating my time to a fully comprehensive specialist Endodontics practice. My aim is to provide a local service convenient to local dentists and their patients. This service includes treating patients at short notice and same day emergency service five days a week.
Periodontics and Implant Dentistry
Dr Elaine Giedrys Leeper

I qualified from Bristol University and after graduate training at Guy's and the Eastman Dental Hospital, I went to the USA to obtain a Masters degree in Periodontology at the University of Washington, Seattle. I returned to the UK to take up a consultant post at St George's Hospital in London. I was there for 9 years before deciding to devote myself to specialist practice.
Currently I am at 42 The Dental Practice from Tuesday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5.30pm. On Fridays I work as a consultant in the Periodontal Department at the Eastman Dental Hospital.
The service I provide at 42 The Dental Practice includes treating patients at short notice and a same day emergency service.
I am on the Periodontal and Restorative Specialist Registers. I am involved with postgraduate teaching both at the Eastman Dental Hospital and at other hospitals and institutions in and around the south east of England and I lecture nationally.
I am married to a Californian and have two daughters.
Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry
Dr Anna Maciag
BDS (Lond) FDS RCS (Eng)
I qualified at Guy's Hospital in 1984 and worked for a number of years in hospital posts in London, gaining my fellowship in 1989. After 10 years of full time hospital appointments as an oral surgeon, I began devoting more time to building a private referral practice. In addition, I am a surgical specialist at Guys Hospital where I am also involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
I am registered with the GDC as a Specialist in Surgical Dentistry and I am a member of the Association of Dental Implantology and the British Association of Oral Surgery. At 42 Pembridge Road I welcome referrals for all aspects of oral surgery including soft tissue surgery and biopsies. In collaboration with my prosthetic colleagues I undertake a full range of implant treatment ranging from single tooth placement to full mouth rehabilitation.
I live in West London and have two daughters.
Prosthodontics, Restorative Dentistry and Implants
Dr Sohaib Safiullah

I qualified from Guy's Hospital in 1991 and worked for a number of years in general dentistry and hospital posts in oral surgery, orthodontics and restorative dentistry. After obtaining the Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1995, I worked as a Specialist Registrar in Restorative Dentistry at Guy's Hospital, during which time I also completed a Masters in Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute. In 2002 I was awarded Intercollegiate Specialty in Restorative Dentistry signifying completion of specialist training. I am thus currently employed (part time)as an NHS consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Soho Centre for Health and Care, Soho Square, which is run by Hammersmith and Fulham Primary Care Trust.
I am registered with the GDC as a Specialist in Restorative Dentistry, Periodontics and Prosthodontics and would also welcome referrals for the surgical placement of implants and their subsequent restoration.
In addition to working at 42 The Dental Practice I also work in a specialist referral practice in Guildford. I presently run postgraduate courses at Guy's and a number of other centres in the South East.
Orthodontics
Dr Moira Wong
BDS LDSRCS (Eng) FDSRCS (Eng) MOrtho (Eng) MOrth RCS Ed MSc FDS (Orth)
I graduated from the Royal London Hospital Medical College in 1994. I worked in general dental practice for a year before specializing in the hospital service. I worked in Bristol Dental Hospital and Watford and Mount Vernon Hospital gaining experience in children's dentistry, restorative dentistry and oral surgery. I completed my Masters degree and Membership in Orthodontics at Guy's Hospital in 2000. I gained my Fellowship in Orthodontics in 2003 whilst working at St. George's Hospital and King's College, London. I now spend part of my time as an Honourary Senior Clinical Demonstrator at Guy's Hospital (I am registered with the GDC as a specialist in Orthodontics).
Currently at 42 The Dental Practice I am dedicated to providing a specialist orthodontic service to both adults and children. I am able to provide multidisciplinary care in conjunction with my specialist colleagues.
Paedodontics and Special Needs dentistry
Dr Peta D'Souza
BDS hons Dr Med MSc LFhom)
I graduated from Manchester University Hospital in 1992.
Following house jobs at the University of Manchester Dental Hospital and at Manchester Royal Infirmary, I worked as a tutor at Heidelburg University in the Department of Restorative Dentistry where I gained a Doctorate in Conservative Dentistry and Materials Science. I then spent 2 years at the University of California at San Francisco where I completed a specialisation in Paedodontics and Special Needs Dentistry while working as a guest tutor. After spending some time in Asia and The Far East, I returned to London where I became increasingly interested in holistic adjuncts to dental treatment. I completed my Licence in Homeopathic Dentistry in 2004 at the Royal London Homeopathic hospital and am completing my DFhom. Having studied Hypnosis with the department of Psychology at University College London I am now working towards my MSc. During this period I have also worked as Scientific Advisor to the British Dental Association. I have been working in private practice in London for the last five years.
Currently at 42 I am dedicated to providing a Paedodontic & Special Needs service. I have particular interest in treating nervous children and adults and integrating holistic adjuncts where appropriate.
