Ravina qualified as a dentist from the University of Leeds in 2018. After completing her foundation training in general practice, she spent three years working as a hospital dentist, gaining broad experience across multiple dental specialties, including oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Driven by a passion for treating children, she went on to complete a three-year specialist training programme in Paediatric Dentistry at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield. Alongside this, she was awarded a Master of Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in Paediatric Dentistry from the University of Sheffield.
Ravina is currently undertaking further advanced training towards becoming a Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London.
Ravina provides a full range of paediatric dental treatments, including white fillings, extractions, preformed metal crowns, and root canal treatment for developing teeth. She has a particular interest in the management of dental trauma and in caring for anxious children, using behavioural techniques and inhalation sedation to ensure a calm and positive dental experience.
In addition to her hospital-based training, Ravina has worked in community dental services, where she developed strong skills in supporting children and young people who are neurodiverse or have additional needs. She takes a flexible, patient-centred approach and is committed to spending the time each child needs to feel comfortable and confident during their dental visit.
