Katie trained at the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy, where she gained a BSc dual qualification in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. Prior to this she worked as a Dental nurse for 7 years (across London) assisting in all aspects of advanced dental care including: orthodontics, implants and minor oral surgery.

As the dental hygienist at 42 Dental, she is at the front line in ensuring that you enjoy the lasting benefits of your dental restorations and good oral health. Regular hygiene appointments are important as they aid in the prevention of gum disease (periodontitis), gingivitis, tooth decay, and bad breath.

Katie is an active member of the British Association of Dental Therapists and ensure all her treatments are at the forefront of dentistry. She has attended numerous post-graduate whitening courses and can provide scaling and stain removal techniques that will brighten your smile and give you a fresh, healthy look.

Katie is very experienced with adults who are nervous of having treatment and children who are experiencing hygiene treatment for the first time. At 42, she is available either as a support to your Dentist or Specialist or if you just want your teeth professionally cleaned and feeling fresh through direct access.
