Mo graduated from King’s College London Dental Institute with Honours.

Following his dental foundation training, he was employed in hospital posts in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead and King’s College Hospital, London. During this time Mo was awarded a Masters degree in which he explored the consent process in head and neck surgery and gained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. In 2018, he was accepted onto the three year Specialist training programme and appointed as an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Oral Surgery at Barts Health NHS Trust and Queen Mary University of London.

In 2021, Mo was awarded Membership in Oral Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons. This signified the completion of his Specialist training in Oral Surgery.

Mo is registered with the General Dental Council (UK) as a Specialist in Oral Surgery.

Mo is employed part time as a Specialist Oral Surgeon and Clinical Lecturer in Oral Surgery at Bart’s & The London School of Medicine and Dentistry where he is directly involved in the teaching and training of dental undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Mo’s Research work surrounds the consent process and human factors related to dentistry and oral surgery and he remains very involved in clinical trials.

He has been published in the British Dental journal, The British Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral surgery Journal. He is a Member of the Royal Society of Medicine and an Examiner and Member of the Royal College of Surgeons.

At “42” Mo enjoys working closely with his Specialist colleagues when a multidisciplinary approach is required and is able to provide treatment under sedation.

Like everyone at “42” he shares a thoughtful, gentle and humanistic approach.

He is happy to take referrals for the following:

  • Removal of wisdom teeth including “nerve-at-risk” patients
  • Removal of buried/impacted teeth/fractured and retained roots
  • Surgery as part of orthodontic treatment (including orthodontic exposures
    with gold chains, open exposures)
  • Soft tissue surgery of the mouth including biopsy
  • Temporomandibular joint problems and facial pain
